It has only been a few days since our return from China. It was a wonderful trip to see Nate and Leah and the "half baked" new granddaughter! She's still in her mommy's tummy, so a little imagination is needed to see her. I'll post info and pictures soon.
Unfortunately, we lost our Sprite after 14 years while we were away. It was a serious blow. Since Jeni is not teaching for a few more weeks, we decided we either get a new dog immediately, or we wait for an unknown time to get a new one. As you can see, we brought one home today. It is an apricot colored male we've named Biscuit. He has about the same color as a KFC buttermilk biscuit. He is supposed to be almost 10 weeks old, but he seems younger. He is also supposed to get to be 20 lbs, but that may be optimistic. We're hoping for at least a 15 pounder. He does whine and bark for attention, so we'll have to break that habit.
