Tonight, Divya participated in a musical production at school. The accompanying pictures (placed in an order known only to the programmer of this blog site) are of Divya and her second grade pals. The theme was a history of US transportation from canoe to jets. Patriotic songs like "Grand Ole Flag" and "Yankee Doodle Dandy" were accompanied by "Ol' John Henry" and "Proud Mary." It was very cute. Divya had an individual speaking part. She was VERY nervous, but pulled off extremely well. Of course we had to celebrate with McDonalds sundaes.
